Terms of Service

The service

ReadyProof lets you upload documents, automatically extracts deadlines and obligations from them using AI, and sends reminders so you can stay current on renewals, filings, and similar items. You may also create shareable proof pages.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Your content

You retain ownership of the documents and information you submit (“Your Content”). You grant ReadyProof a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy). You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you lack the right to use, or that is unlawful.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee

ReadyProof uses automated extraction and reminders to help you keep track of deadlines, but AI is not perfect and delivery of email or SMS is not guaranteed. You remain solely responsible for meeting your own legal, regulatory, financial, and compliance obligations. Always verify extracted dates and details against your original documents. ReadyProof does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice.

Subscriptions, trials & billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and plan features may change with notice.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Twilio, and AI providers). Their availability and performance are outside our control, and your use may also be subject to their terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReadyProof and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss resulting from missed deadlines, lapsed coverage, or penalties. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ReadyProof harmless from claims arising out of Your Content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a different jurisdiction is required by applicable law.
